Christmas comes early/late

This is a plastic rooster that my boss and co-worker stole from a nativity scene.

I like that it still has traces of hot glue from when they pulled it off of whatever it was mounted on.

Who knew that there were holiday getaways related to black diaspora?

Nintendo + Christmas = Awesome

Josh and I went to Christine's house to check on her cat.

The cat hid.

So we played the Nintendo Wii while we waited. If I were to have a video game box, I think the Wii would be the one for me. I still wasn't very good at it and it made me kind of sleepy.

Christine and her man friend have alot of toys in their house.

I recognized some of characters, but was un-familliar with most of them.

This is some sweet video game action.

This is the roller rink where I went to many a birthday party in my youth. They built a Home Depot next door. I wonder if the day laborers go roller skating on slow days.

This is my new hat. I think it will go well with my puffy vest.

These wild dogs broke in and stole the Christmas turkey.

The dogs then claimed all the furniture as their own.

Oh well.

This is my new portable record player. It takes less batteries than my boom box (6 D batteries as apposed to 8). I can't wait to play records in the car.

Fashion forward Christmas

Me and Josh needed to do some final Christmas shopping.

Or maybe I just wanted to get futuristic underpants at H&M (my favorite store).

Or maybe we were going to Super Thrift. I am told that it is one of the finest thrift stores this side of the Mississippi.

The H&M in Pasadena only sells womens clothing. Sucks to be me.

I remember back when old town Pasadena used to be scary. When it was moderately scary. When it was getting fancy but had scary moments. Now they have more home furnishing stores than you can shake a stick at, I guess that could be considered scary too.

This is me and my brother wearing metalic headbands at the American Apparel store.

As stunning as we look in the headbands; we really couldn't validate paying $6.50 for $0.05 worth of material and $0.60 worth of non-sweat-shop labor.

We were asked to leave.

Christmas sweater

Megan and Lilly had a holiday-themed-sweater party.

Megan's dad's bluegrass band played. I think they sounded like Old Crow Medicine Show.

Here is Megan in a Christmas themed nightgown. note: it is not technically a sweater, it is however quite festive, so we'll let it slide.

Various types of beer were offered. I stuck with the plain flavored beer, or maybe you could call it original recipe.

I heard that Megan had invited her students to join the party. Unfortunately none of them showed up.

There was a very large dog at the party. Legend has it that this dog had once eaten another dog...color me horrified.

A good time was had by all. I felt quite ill the next day.

Jumping the gun

They are selling a wide variety of Christmas trees at Lowes.

They really have a lot to choose from; green ones, white ones, ones with decorations, ones without.

The only thing is... it's still three weeks until Halloween (or at least it was when I took the pictures).

My flock of turkeys seems to have escaped their cage again.

This is a painting of a cat. I think the cats name is Smokey.

Gas is $3.09 (more accurately; gas was $3.09, I think it has gone up and down since then, this picture was taken shortly after gas broke the $3 mark (in Roseburg)). Good thing my car wont start(even though this post is out of date; my car still wont start).
