The chicks are free
I'm not sure what to say about this, questionable, sideburn action.
Look chickens!

The sky is falling
The chicken containers at the farm supply store are out, but empty.
I am, again, trying to figure out how I can raise chickens in my apartment.
I think I could set up a cage inside my apartment and then just take the chicken with me during the day.
It would be like a purse chicken.
A man purse chicken.
Lillie told me that my apartment will smell like a barn if I do this.
Maybe the fact that I have two cats makes the plan a little problematic.
Look! Great White is coming to Roseburg.
Who knew they were a band that was worthy of a comeback tour?
I found this zine in the magazine rack at the supermarket.
The zine is filled with love poems. I thought about taking it, but then decided that I should leave it for someone else to find. (the kid who makes them also leaves them around my work)
I have never heard of the Jonas Brothers, but I'm pretty sure I hate them.

This post has nothing to do with Ozzy Osborne
I assume there's a large fiberglass chicken on top of this resturant.
I went to the Beverly Center in search of H&M, as I mentioned before, my favorite store.
I got coffee at a coffee stand. I was asked if I wanted it for here or to go. I was confused and asked why it mattered.
She ignored me.
This was some sort of lounge area where people, disinterested in feeding our struggling economy, could sit and watch sporting events. In this case it was boxing.
I eventually found H&M. I got futuristic underpants and a blazer. I win.
Look it's Libby!
These are Libby's pet fish. They seemed nice, Libby claimed that they liked me...I don't really know how one can tell.
This is an awesome chicken that Libby had. I am totally jealous.
This is the Greystone mansion. It's quite scenic, one might even say romantic.
This is a fake lily pad. It's held in place by a metal rod. Well I thought it was funny.
I think that's where Cher lives.
Here is an exterior shot of the mansion. In principle, you can go inside, but I think it is usually being used for weddings and movies and such.
Libby knew all sorts of things about the mansion. I bet she could be a tour guide, if she wanted.
This was the yellow brick road from the Wizard of Oz and subsequently the Wiz.
We can thank Libby for these powerful facts.
There was supposed to be a picture of the courtyard where the wedding scene in the Guns & Roses video November Rain was shot.
Such is life.
We hoped to spot some celebrities at Hamburger Hamlet.
I guess celebrities don't generally eat dinner at 4:45.
This is a sculpture celebrating doctors. I think the feet sticking out are a nice touch.
I think I see a pack of wild celebrities off in the distance.

Mostly egg related
Due to poor planing and off-brand batteries, I am slightly lacking in up to date pictures.I will hope that a textual account will surmise for today.
I had planned to get a pet chicken. Unfortunately within Roseburg, city limits, livestock requires a permit. It's unfortunate because I eat allot of eggs, and because, in our backyard, we have what appears to have once been a dog run, which could have been converted into a sweet chicken run. It's actually probably for the best that it didn't work out, because we have some new neighbors who like to throw things out their window, into our yard. I would say that it's just the kids doing it, as most of what has landed in our yard is toys, but, there have been a few items that I'm going to assume someone thought were too heavy/gross to walk all the way to the trashcan.
On a lighter, yet still egg-related note, one of our board members has chickens and geese, so she has been giving me goose eggs. One goose egg yields about the same the same amount as three regular eggs, so I don't eat them everyday, but their really good for omelets.
We had an Easter party. Maggi, David, Lupita and I decorated eggs. I hid the eggs and we had an Easter egg hunt, a good time was had by all.
I am taking a fishing class at the community college. I never realized how little I knew about fishing. Hopefully I will be fishing soon, I think I'm going to try and get a rod this week.
For work, I went on a tour of some of the local wineries. There are 14 (or possibly 18) wineries in the area. My tour went to 7 of them. 7 wineries, 3 glasses of wine per winery is 21 glasses of wine, the tour went from 9am to 5pm that's 8 hours, or 2.625 glasses of wine an hour. Did I mention I was doing this for work?
I saw Grindhouse, I'm not sure what to say about this movie (these movies)...I probably should have read a review or something before seeing it.

This is a picture I found on a blog dedicated to great new inventions. Doesn't butter already come in "stick type"?

The hits just keep on coming
This is a box I found down the hall. There are Frapaciino's (SP?) on the top shelf. I don't know, it seemed funnier at the time.
I got dressed up to respond to an add I found on craigslist.
It turns out it was a fake ad.
luckily the place was a temp agency.
I think this is me in the mirror in the elevator.
My parents dog Rockie died today. She had a giant tumor on her leg, it ruptured. She had a good long life, she was 15 or 16 I think.
This is the beginnings of my packing endeavors. I decided to go on a walk.
I really don't know what this is, it sure looks gross though.
This van, parked in front of some housing projects, had a banner on it reading "party buss" or something like that. Again, it seemed funnier at the time.
24 ounce cans of Molson Ice were on sale, so I got 2.
This is a giant mound of freezer burned chicken that we bought a while back because it was on sale. It tasted pretty much how you expect.
Look, I magically made this egg stand on it's end.
*Note* Maybe I shouldn't hold the camera so high.
Because of the spotty nature of this post I will offer you some movie reviews.
Rabid: This movie is kind of a zombie movie, except the zombies don't need to eat brains they just attack you, while foaming at the mouth. The movie stars Marilyn Chambers, who spends most of the movie topples. The other high point is a scene where a cop with a machine gun kills Santa.
Gumball Rally: The Gumball rally is a rally, not a race, that takes place every year or maybe less often or more often, the uber wealthy get together, drive really fast all day and then have rockus party's all night. Earlier this year or maybe last year I read a pretty good article about it in Vanity Fair. Anyway, that's basically what the movie is about, kind of. The highlight of the movie is Garry Busey playing a zany hill-billy...comedy ensues.
