Pale and emaciated

Maybe I just wanted you to see my favorite mug.

I have been searching for a clear green visor ever since I first watched The Man Who Fell to Earth. That was also when David Bowie taught me that it was ok to be pale an emaciated.

Someone keeps messing with my mail box. I blame teenagers.

This is Blue Moons Pumpkin beer. Review:
If you like beer that tastes like pumpkins; buy a different beer. If you want a beer that tastes like Autumn herbs and flowers; maybe get this one.

DOB

Salvation Army wanted a 100 some odd dollars for an accordion with missing keys. Like hell I say.

I was trying to find something to give Lee Ann for her birthday. I debated this donkey, but ultimately, I decided that I should assume that everyone, much like myself, doesn't need more crap in their lives.

I think my tamale exploded somewhere between the kitchen and my table. I also think that someone added more sauce, in the hopes that it would conceal said exploded tamale.

Here is Lee Ann wearing a festive sombrero. Our waiter also brought her a festive birthday drink which Lee Ann refused to drink.

Nintendo + Christmas = Awesome

Josh and I went to Christine's house to check on her cat.

The cat hid.

So we played the Nintendo Wii while we waited. If I were to have a video game box, I think the Wii would be the one for me. I still wasn't very good at it and it made me kind of sleepy.

Christine and her man friend have alot of toys in their house.

I recognized some of characters, but was un-familliar with most of them.

This is some sweet video game action.

This is the roller rink where I went to many a birthday party in my youth. They built a Home Depot next door. I wonder if the day laborers go roller skating on slow days.

This is my new hat. I think it will go well with my puffy vest.

These wild dogs broke in and stole the Christmas turkey.

The dogs then claimed all the furniture as their own.

Oh well.

This is my new portable record player. It takes less batteries than my boom box (6 D batteries as apposed to 8). I can't wait to play records in the car.

Doctor Doom

This is Wee Pierre stealing my dinner.

I was not happy to have my dinner stolen.

I recruited artists for an art fair in the park over Labor Day weekend. The fair was in conjunction with a triathlon.

Not surprisingly we ended up with three artists participating. We actually had four, but one of them never showed up.

I borrowed this tricorn hat from the museum. I really think I need one of my very own.

Wildlife Safari came with their cheetah. The woman on the right kept getting upset when runners would come through and the crowd would clap. She would get this annoyed look on her face and say "look, a cheetah".

They kept feeding the cheetah baby birds. I personally thought it was a little gross, but hey, what do I know?

There were several bands performing. Mostly they did oldies. Luckily there was no barbershop quartet.

At a certain point we realized our further presence was unnecessary, so we packed up and went home.

Somehow I ended up with a giant bruise on my ankle. Maybe I'm working to hard

A certain ratio

Apparently there is a time capsule buried under the Bank of America. A man nearby was arguing with the paramedics, and eventually, the police. They wanted him to leave, he said he couldn't because his knees were broken and more importantly because he hated them.

This is a gardening themed hat I saw at the plant show. It involved numerous plants and animals.

This is NOT the same garden themed hat. There were more, but how many funny hats can I really validate mentioning.

This appears to be a plant of some sort. There must have been a reason for me photographing it. I think it may have been attacking a small child.

After the plant show I was scheduled to attend High Tea. For reasons, that I can't really understand, nobody besides myself had any interest in little cream cheese & cucumber sandwiches. I also planned to attend the monster truck rally, I heard there would be an appearance by Truck-a-saurus.

While I was NOT the only man at high tea, I WAS the only man young enough to leave at his own free will.

This is a period (granted I don't know what period) tea cup. I thought the fashion show would also be of "period outfits". I was sorely mistaken.

This was my complimentary tea cup. It was pretty nice and had birds on it. I gave it to Maggie, because it was her birthday and her ticket to high tea and because she likes birds.

This is Pancho Villa tequila. I don't know whether to think this is awesome or offensive. I think it goes without saying that this was the tequila I bought for Cinco De Mayo.

Lupita made these amazing cupcakes. My favorite was the crap. I wish I could eat them all.

Margaret was on very good behavior, I think Emily (pictured here) put the fear of god in her.

Good times ensued.

We made a large batch of margaritas. The ratios were off, so I had to taste every margarita to make sure they weren't disgusting.

This is a birthday cupcake for Maggie. I know it isn't the crap cupcake, because I ate that one.

These are some of the plants me and Maggie picked up at the plant show. We got; basil, cilantro, two kinds of tomatoes, bell peppers, hot peppers, a few things that I not sure what they are because the woman working at the sale tricked me into buying them, maybe we got a flower or two, and a pumpkin.

These are my pots. One is cilantro and one is basil. The other night I accidentally kicked them over.
