Because of rising gas prices, I have resorted to riding this, very, un-street-legal lawnmower bike thing.

Someone keeps leaving cats on my doorstep.

Fire hazard? I doubt it.

This is our first batch of Popsicles. (I have just been informed that "Popsicle" is a registered trademark (this would explain why spell-check keeps capitalizing it) and the proper title is ice pop)

We had a little trouble removing our "ice pops" from their freezing vessels.

They may have been broken but, they were still delicious.

Bagels and bacon.

We have been working on a system.

A pot-luck system or breakfast barbecue system, if you prefer.

A meal is decided on and the pieces of the meal (i.e eggs, bacon, champagne) are delegated to different parties.

In principal the labor would also be distributed evenly.

We are new to this whole idea of community, so the distribution of labor element might take some time.

Did I mention how much I love pot?

I will attempt to flip the giant omelet.

I think I was trying to take a picture of the sun as a way to illustrate that there was much heat.

I suppose I could just show you our container of melted butter.

Because of the excess of heat, it was decided that the beach was where we needed to be.

Maureen, apparently, felt that the temperature was not quite warm enough.

We all went swimming, some more briefly than others, but eventually gave it up because the water was so cold.

He, surprisingly, did not.

Nobody died so I guess we did it right.

Mostly about food

As I wanted to be finished with breakfast before 2:00 pm; I decided not to barbecue this morning.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I mean, that's cool, if that is what your into.

Times have changed since back in the day.

Even I; am learning to accept.

After some trial and error I was able to produce this perfect pancake.

While I did say; I wouldn't complain, there's nothing that says I can't exclaim that it is quite hot out. One might even say "stupid hot".

What can I say...

Their opening up a Sonic in Roseburg. People seem excited, I'm not really sure why. Anyway, I don't know what to make of this sign, wouldn't the full menu be hamburger, fries and soda? And why wouldn't you serve that all day?

I, almost, accidentally bought a $7 tomato.

Here is a smoothie I made. I didn't have any yogurt or appropriate liquids to add so I used tonic. It does ward off malaria, so I guess it's ok.

Apparently the library is now closed on Monday. Who do they think they are, a restaurant?
