Don't mess with Montana

This is a car with, not one, but many Jesus fish.

This kind of looks like a doorknob...I don't know why I would take a picture of a doorknob.

I went out with Chris DeLaurenti. He gave me a tour of Seattle, or at least a tour of some of the bars in Seattle.

We met up with Chris's friend who's name was Newt. Chris and another friend of his had nick named themselves Frog & Toad, after the book Frog & Toad are friends. I'm not sure which one Chris is.

Chris had plans to ask his lady friend to marry him the next day.

Chris gave me a ride back to SeaTac. We got lost and Chris spoke ill of the sprawl that is SeaTac.

This is my roommate in SeaTac. His name is also Gabriel.

This is Marry. She was not my roommate.

The streets of Seattle are crawling with militiamen. This is probably due to Washington's close proximity to Montana.

We skiped out on our afternoon meetings to wander the streets of Seattle in search of...

People who throw fish shouldn't live in glass houses

Before our meetings and what-not, Maggie, David, and myself, took the monster truck to Pikes Place Market.

These are flowers.

This is a lovely view of some water. The coffee at breakfast was quite tasty and did NOT involve any non dairy creamer. I may have had 5 or 6 cups during breakfast.

This is a vegetable. Possibly a radioactive vegetable. Possibly a pile of artichokes. You be the judge.

I think this fish market is known for it's workers who throw fish. There were many people standing around waiting to see fish fly through the air.

This is me and a large, scary fish. I would be quite terrified if someone threw it at me.

We walked around and passed the section of downtown we probably should have gone to the previous night. I got some more coffee.

My adventure to SeaTac

I/we recently went on a trip to SeaTac, Washington. We may have been slightly misled when we signed up for this trip, at the time we were told we would be staying in downtown Seattle, NOT one block from the air port.

I was late arriving at the van to take us up to Washington. This is only worth mentioning because the van was parked in front of my apartment.

We stopped in Cresswell, Oregon, so I could pay for my car repair.

I left my car.

Washington is a very attractive state.

This was our hotel in scenic SeaTac, Washington. The fencing on the roof is designed to deflect passing airplanes.

Our posse traveled to downtown Seattle.

The bars we found mostly all sucked.

Having been out of the city for a while I had almost forgotten about pan handlers.

Ben offered several homeless people his chapstick.

We played pool (badly) at a bar that may-have-been OR at-least-looked-like an old hotel lobby.

Margarita Party! Ole!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
A margarita themed party was planed.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Because of poor planning and the fact that the liquor stores in Roseburg close at 7; there was only one bottle of tequila. Said bottle, was mostly empty when Maggie, David, and I arrived on the scene. We had the final margaritas in festive glasses.

Regina explained to me that, for some reason men feel impelled to tell her their sob stories. I don't know if my car breaking down twice in one week counted as a sob story. I think, I didn't mention it, just in case.

This is a view of the party before it turned into a dance party. I made a "tape" for the party. The party tape included a dance-party-standard by Peaches.

Peaches was deemed inappropriate by some party goers.

This is a picture of me trying to dj with one of those fancy-new-fangled walkmen. I think I managed to not break it.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I was told that, I only actually have one dance move.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I say, it's a very versatile move.

The Gay 90's

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
My car broke down many miles from home. I borrowed a bike. The tire went flat. I walked to work. It rained on my head.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I got an elaborate sandwich that involved sprouts. I'm not sure why, but this struck me as odd. In the menu at Gay 90's, there is a page of entertainment trivia. The menu also revealed that the Gay 90's was actually established in the gay 70's.

I guess I don't actually have to comment on this one.
