DOB

Salvation Army wanted a 100 some odd dollars for an accordion with missing keys. Like hell I say.

I was trying to find something to give Lee Ann for her birthday. I debated this donkey, but ultimately, I decided that I should assume that everyone, much like myself, doesn't need more crap in their lives.

I think my tamale exploded somewhere between the kitchen and my table. I also think that someone added more sauce, in the hopes that it would conceal said exploded tamale.

The sky is falling

The chicken containers at the farm supply store are out, but empty.

I am, again, trying to figure out how I can raise chickens in my apartment.

I think I could set up a cage inside my apartment and then just take the chicken with me during the day.

It would be like a purse chicken.

A man purse chicken.

Lillie told me that my apartment will smell like a barn if I do this.

Maybe the fact that I have two cats makes the plan a little problematic.

Look! Great White is coming to Roseburg.

Who knew they were a band that was worthy of a comeback tour?

I found this zine in the magazine rack at the supermarket.

The zine is filled with love poems. I thought about taking it, but then decided that I should leave it for someone else to find. (the kid who makes them also leaves them around my work)

I have never heard of the Jonas Brothers, but I'm pretty sure I hate them.

Home and garden

I worked at the Home and Garden show this weekend.

Unlike the Sportsman show last weekend, this one we actually had to sit at our booth and talk to people.

This is my new key chain tape measure.

The free key chain/tape measure; really made it all worthwhile. (*editors note: I haven't seen the tape measure key chain since that day, I think someone must have stolen it.)

Mo' Money Mo' Problems

This was the opening for our Student Art show. We provided cookies and juice boxes.

The Juice boxes were less delicious than I remembered.

For a change of pace the gang/a gang/some gang; decided we should go to the Indian casino.

I went with Megan to the Bingo room.

Bingo is a lot more complicated than I thought.

I also didn't realize how bad I was at Bingo. Megan said it was because I was a hater. I stopped hating on Bingo. It didn't really help. I'm not sure how one can suck at Bingo, but I managed to do it.

Teacher Mike and Teacher Steve both won at roulette.

So, we let them buy us drinks and nachos.

Dinner and a show

I convinced some of my VISTA pals to come help out at a fund raising dinner.

We were all asked to wear black pants and white shirts. One of the women in charge glared at Emily for her shirt. What was she supposed to do; buy a shirt for volunteering?

We'll see if Sarah ever helps me again after I post this picture.

There isn't really that much to say; we served food, I was given the table with the richest people at it and then was warned not to mess anything up.

Afterwards they fed us. Emily had cake for dinner.

While we were eating somebody came in with wine for all the volunteers, except us, I think he thought we were teenagers.

Later me and Steve tried to show our coastal companions how we do it up in Roseburg.

They were un-impressed, at best.
