The Gay 90's
My car broke down many miles from home. I borrowed a bike. The tire went flat. I walked to work. It rained on my head.
I got an elaborate sandwich that involved sprouts. I'm not sure why, but this struck me as odd. In the menu at Gay 90's, there is a page of entertainment trivia. The menu also revealed that the Gay 90's was actually established in the gay 70's.
I guess I don't actually have to comment on this one.

Fort Fun
As you can see, we are off to a good start.
The truck in front of me had this giant cage I assume for transporting some very large, dangerous animal.
Perhaps a rabid unicorn.
I have been lagging, so these pictures are a little out of date, so I'm having difficulty remembering what this is a picture of.
Most likely, this is a picture of karaoke.
Probably of a country song.
Maybe sung moderately.
Or possibly, quite badly.
This is orange punch with star fruit in it. It was totally intense.
Strawberrie punch. Also quite intense.
Lemonade and various cookies. Less intense, but still tasty.
This is what happens when you consume too much punch, too shortly after waking up.
This was the opening for the student art show. I wore a tie, mostly because my boss told me not to.
This is Regina next to a self portrait.
This is a fort. As everyone knows, Oregon is filled with forts.
Because it's so hard to imagine that anything could have been fun 100 years ago.
Fort fun ensued.
A view from the fort.
View of Lupita and the river.
We saw some teenagers rolling each other down the hill inside of a large garbage can.
I think this might be an eclipse.
This is a pretty good one even if I have no idea of what, where, how it was taken or why I took it.
And here we are almost full circle.

Art review + some random observations
These fryers had the wrong date,I had to put new date stickers on many of them.
And then fold them.
A scenic vista?
Yeah...whatever.
I got lunch somewhere that had Vault on tap. For those not in the know, Vault is a hybrid beverage (I think that's what they're called). Think of it as a blend of energy drink (e.g Red Bull or AMP (my personal favorite))and a regular soda (e.g Coke or in this case, I think it's some citrus flavored beverage). While I did not partake, I do think it puts us on step closer to getting Coke Black on tap.
Let us move on.
This is a painting of a tiger on a lily pad. I don't know what else to say except...awesome.
I think I actually took this picture for Jaime Fennelly.
I think the lower picture might be a painting of a skier with his head suck in the snow.
A volcano?
I should really learn how to use a camera.
I mean, WTF?
We're getting closer, but still...
This was a picture of a monkey. He may or may not be stoned. On bananas, I guess.
This picture include the text; "Hi my name is Mike. I am an extreme biker...I put the X in eXtreme..." or something like that.
This is not art. these are my tomatoes, obviously they got a little moldy. I was, needless to say, mad-as-hell. I ate some of them anyway.
This is my new plant. I got it when I got my new futon. While I am very happy to have a bed. I am even more eXtremely happy about this plant.
I think these are Beatles. I have previously mentioned my feelings regarding the Beatles. I am however a big fan of this particular rendering.
I think this is Tupac Shakur. This picture made me a little nostalgic for New York.
I took my car to the tire place to get my tires rotated or balanced or whatever.
While my tires appeared to be in pretty good shape. It turns out they are very old and were splitting (whatever that means).
I am now the proud owner of four new tires.
