Anti fun

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I am in trouble; there is presently a one month gap between taking pictures and posting pictures.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
This is the mural about dinosaurs and food we are facilitating at the health center.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I think I previously mentioned it's close resemblance to dragons = Harry Potter = Witches = Satan.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
We started out with a few more volunteers.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Wow! This toy looks like the antithesis of fun.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
It's a hard call on which of these toys is more un-fun.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
While this may not be an actual injury, I think it is worth noting, as it has made my life more difficult.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Much like this cup of coffee that was ruined through my not checking the creams expiry date.

Busking

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I would say that this guy is a busker, however there is so little chance of anyone passing him, let alone giving him money.

Picking up where the hippies left off

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Two cupcakes and and a hipster craft magazine. The breakfast of the next generation (look out you Baby Boomers', we don't care about our diets and our craft projects are much tougher than yours.)

Blythe and Chris were lovely hosts. Here is Blythe. Chris had left early in the morning for some sort of outdoor excursion.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
We met up with Lexingberg, Stephenawitz and Meganstien at Portland's Jewish deli.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Here I am ready for a breakfast of gefilte fish and Manischewitz (the Manischewitz web site (where tradition is the new trend) has a page devoted to gefilte fish where they list facts, including the fact that gefilte fish is not a species of fish but a loaf of fish! Hooray!)
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Troubling indeed. If I need to explain it, you wouldn't have thought the joke was funny anyway.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Woe is Steve.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
We were discussing peoples willingness or un-willingness to have their pictures taken.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Is one camera more intrusive/annoying than the other.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Steve took the awsomecam to see at what point it's presence became irritating.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Unfortunately, I don't have a whole lot to say about this particular sequence of pictures.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Just think of it as a dizzying adventure in outdoor breakfast.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Steve.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Megan.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Megan.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Steve again.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Gabriel.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I think this is the point at which we want it all to stop. Or at least Lexi does.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Megan's finger has started turning green from her skull ring.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Here is an avant-rock trio outside Macy's
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I keep telling Megan not to take sideways pictures because it means more work for me. But does she listen...
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
While I have very little to say about this Thai restaurant; I like this picture of the three soup samples they brought us.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
On that note, we will leave Portland

A colection

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Over time; these pictures seem to be becoming more "painterly". Especially if by "painterly" one means "more yellow".
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Marie gave me a box of records.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I didn't realize that Niel Diamond had so many albums.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Here we have Barbara Streisand in an extra sexy double layer of soft focus. I think that I may have actually taken pictures of this album before. I don't know, maybe I have a thing for
Barbara Streisand's sexy yet creepy album covers, I HAVE had her picture on my fridge for over four years now.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
This is a plastic bird in a tree.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
It is either guerrilla art or some sort of satanic offering.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
At dinner Lindsey was going on about how much she hates body builders and how she thinks that they are disgusting, deplorable human beings. This other time she argued with Ben for an hour about the validity of Spin class. And yet another time; she argued for an hour about garlic, that was also with Ben.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
We went over to Murphy's Tavern.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
formerly; Little Brothers.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Now we just call it Little Murphs.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Maggie and Lee Ann were slow to join us as they had befriended a hobo and had taken him out to dinner.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I really don't know what else to say...I've been watching a lot of documentaries lately.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Here are some things I have learned: kimono dragons can grow up to 15 feet long and have been known to eat people.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The Titanic was never actually billed as being "unsinkable"
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
And; Carl Sagan hates god.

Hippie Music Fair

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
The gang/part of the gang/a gang went down to Grants Pass, Oregon to help Sam at a hippie music fair.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
The festival was held on the Rouge river, but, I forgot my fishing equipment (we will note it has been quite some time since the last time I didn't catch any fish).
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Lee Ann was a Jr. Bass Master. We are going to go fishing and we will catch very large fish because she knows what she's doing.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Grants Pass's downtown area has decorated bears throughout. They are like those cows in Chicago.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Me & Lee Ann stopped and got margaritas before heading back to work.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Then we ate some of these mushrooms.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Lee Ann had missed most of her shift.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
It was fine though. We played some Frisbee.

This was one of many hippie-jam-bands performing this afternoon.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
In front of the stage stood a lone hippie dancer (this is NOT a picture of said dancer).
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I have plans for my own hippie-jam-band/death metal band; we will be called Didgeridoom.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
A view from the eye of the hippie dance storm.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
The band did an encore jam with all of their friends. The jam lasted three hours.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
We had all planned to go camping after the fair.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Our car was too tiered to go camping so Maggie & David went out on their own.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
On the drive back; Ben and Lindsey argued about "Spin Classes".
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
We later found out that Maggie & David had ended up camping in a day use area.
