I wasn't going to complain

Megan saw this picture and asked if I was going to complain about the weather.

For once the answer is no. I just thought the fog was neat looking.

Somehow I didn't realize that I owned this awesome Dolly Parton poster.

This is a spider that died inside one of the pictures at work.

Finding new friends

You know; we WERE supposed to have a Spring...

Mad As Hell.

Tonight we had a gallery opening.

I worked the door; greeting some and ejecting the ne'er-do-wells.

This man came to the opening with his wife and 6+ progeny, he was wearing a pair of suspenders that read Lumberjack. He is my new hero.

I wanted to steal his suspenders and appropriate them for evil/ironic purposes.

This was supposed to be a picture of the delicious cauliflower seviche that Shawn made. Instead it is a picture of a gross red apple.

This is our new friend Megan, this is a picture of her as she, loudly, told a story about genital warts.

Did I mention we had met her four minutes earlier?

15 day delay

Contrary to popular belief; I can smile in a picture. Kind of. I appear to have lost my chin again though.

Stupid winter is back again.

It's probably just the End of Days.

Oh well.

I met the Museum folk at some Chinese place, they sat us in this back room filled with fish tanks.

Lee Ann and I both had the "Princess Chicken". I don't know about Lee Ann, but I did not feel like a princess after eating it.

Lee Ann did however, get four fortunes in her cookie. I, sadly, only got two.

Have I mentioned that, ever since I worked at ABC Carpet and Home, I really want a chandelier? Granted, not this one, because it is ugly, but I think a nice one would really work in my apartment.

This is amazing banzai with fake fruit (I don't know if those are peaches or oranges or what, but they are awesome whichever they are). On one of the few occasions where me and Adrienne agree; I think we both wanted to steal the banzai, possibly for different reasons though.

Swimming while smoking

What I had planned for today; sit in my kiddie pool drinking iced tea and smoking cigarettes.

As the weather had thwarted my plans; I took a long walk instead. This is a picture of the new Gracie's thrift shop, I think in order to pay for their move across town; they have jacked the prices up 500% (and that is 500% on top of initial mark up from free donated items). Needless to say; I am mad as hell. I would call Ellis and complain, but, I know he will tell me that he had no say in the matter and I will know that he is lying.

I guess I had never really taken a look at this terribly offensive depiction of an Indian bringing "fire water" (that's what it says on his keg) to the thirsty patrons of the Tee Pee Tavern. Ok, another point of note; the Cow Creek Tribe of Indians have a lot of pull in Roseburg and are responsible for much of the funding that area non-for-profits receive, the tribes offices are located pretty much across the street from the Tee Pee. All of a sudden; I have a very strong desire to patronize the Tee Pee Tavern.

Once I get my farm; this is the tractor I will own.

I had a strong desire for pizza and got this; the worlds smallest pizza pie.

When I got home; my landlord was on the roof cutting down branches and throwing them off into the yard.

One of them landed in the front yard bounced back at hit my front window.

My landlord thought it was hilarious, I felt it less so.

It' definitely not the humidity

Today it was 100 degrees out.

This means that my office was 110 degrees.

This is Mike (I think) down by the river.

While it WAS 100+ degrees outside, the water was still about 40 degrees.

That is both very hot and very cold

It kind of appears that I dropped my camera in the water

We played a rousing game of Asshole.

There was a lengthy disscussion of the rules and how they vary regionally.

I did pretty ok. I was king for a while and managed to make everyone angry with my new rules.

Later Lexington and I angered Megan and Steve, by demanding that they change the music.

I was asked to leave.

WTF

Presently it is 103 degrees out in Roseburg.

This make my, already toasty, office on the second floor a good 110 degrees.

I would get up and put the air conditioner into the window but, I might get heat stroke doing it.

p.s. what happened to Spring?

Long weekend

This is a beer bottle someone threw into my yard. I still haven't picked it up.

This marks the beginning of the longest weekend ever.

Me and Steve were at the Death Metal bar, I was very sad, the other folks at the bar probably thought me and Steve were breaking up.

Eventually Lexie came out. I just hope that we haven't scared her off.

We walked to various bars with varying levels of success.

I did not feel stellar the next morning.

This is my earth day crown.

It's made of recycled paper.

One kid told me that I didn't know what I was doing, so I took away his paper craft and told him to go away.

While this is NOT actually snow; I'm still mad as hell that it isn't spring yet.
