Everyone has a special place

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Megan and I went out in search of (non Brix) breakfast. After some trial and error we ended up at The White Horse where they, of course, had stopped serving breakfast 30 minutes ago. They did, however, have these giant stone Pegasuses (or is it Pegasi?) and a bluegrass band.

We went to the Christian coffee shop. Here is a laptop with a Jesus fish on it.

The also had a large basket filled with bibles, we restrained ourselves and did not take any.

This is a new shirt I got. I think the western-wear/ironic-cowboy thing is so played, now it's all about the ironic-hippie/creepy-renaissance-fair look .

Everybody has a special place.

Emily has an owl collection, these owl practically doubled her collection.

This is a sweet temporary tattoo I got from a vending machine. I'm thinking maybe this should be the next tattoo I get.

The picture on the sign is a little girl kissing the severed head of a lion. Horrifying, I know.

This is Bandon.

Megan really didn't want me to post this picture. This is the problem with the actualcam; previously, nobody would know if they disliked the picture until it was already on the internet.

Emily made no qualms about this picture.

Emily and Megan ran to the sea. I already knew that the water was frezzing, so I stayed back. I think Emily was actually just trying to wash some poo off her feet.

This is a spooky cave.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
We found a dead body
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I have no idea what they were pointing at.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
It's Spring in Bandon.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
It's just NOT Spring in Roseburg.

This, my friend, is the house that Jesus built.

Ok, I should have taken more pictures for this story, but, whatever. We went to historic downtown Bandon in search of a coastal eatery, we found a restaurant, we sat down, we took a look at the menu and quickly realized that we could not afford to eat at said restaurant. We tried and get up and leave as covertly as possible and on our way out; the hostess says "are you looking for something less expensive...oh, I mean...more casual?" She then walks us outside and gives us directions to another restaurant a few blocks away. Pictured above is the "more casual" dinning establishment.

I ordered the "Captains Plate". It came with soup, salad bar, pumpkin bread, rice and all the deep fried sea creatures you could imagine.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I was pretty proud of the dent that I put in it, especially since; two hours prior I had eaten a giant crepe and two hours prior to that I had eaten a giant turkey sandwich and french fries.

And then they gave me ice cream, because, as we all know, nothing goes better with deep fried sea world than ice cream.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The thing is; for the price of the Captains Plate; I could have had a nice meal at the other place.

We thought about stealing this plastic cat from one of Emily's neighbors. We ultimately decided against it because...stealing is wrong.

These are various vehicles that are strewn about Emily's yard.

I suppose the need to build a kids parking lot.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
So maybe they already have a parking lot, but they should still build another one, this one appears to be full.

As an un-fitting ending to a pleasant day; I was pulled over and given a speeding ticket. Sucks to be me.

Cultural activity

Hello blue skies. Or maybe we should say pink skies. I think it is time for a new Awesome cam.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
There are no grapefruits anywhere. I will have to think of a new fruit to have with breakfast.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I really don't understand peoples aversion to having their pictures taken. I thought we had moved beyond photography stealing ones soul.

This is the Eugene Saturday Market. Note the hula-hooping hippie to the right.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Hippies abound.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
This man had a cart filled with rubber chickens. I think he would tell you a joke if you payed him a dollar.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
This amazing high school brass band was covering Ozzy Osborne.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Here are Emily and Lexie, again, making faces at the camera.

What hippie festival would be complete without a drum circle.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Here I am at target trying on a festive hat.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
If it was aceptable for a man to wear these shoes, I think you know I would.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Someone (not myself) had given this pink panther an erection.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
We had deep fried pickles for dinner.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Back in the Burg; we hit the bowling alley.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
We had come from Eugene; the land of a thousand hippies, to the bowling alley; the land of a thousand teenagers.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Toward the end of our game; we competed to see who could get the bowling ball the furthest down the lane before it hit the ground.
