Everyone has a special place
Megan and I went out in search of (non Brix) breakfast. After some trial and error we ended up at The White Horse where they, of course, had stopped serving breakfast 30 minutes ago. They did, however, have these giant stone Pegasuses (or is it Pegasi?) and a bluegrass band.
We went to the Christian coffee shop. Here is a laptop with a Jesus fish on it.
The also had a large basket filled with bibles, we restrained ourselves and did not take any.
This is a new shirt I got. I think the western-wear/ironic-cowboy thing is so played, now it's all about the ironic-hippie/creepy-renaissance-fair look .
Everybody has a special place.
Emily has an owl collection, these owl practically doubled her collection.
This is a sweet temporary tattoo I got from a vending machine. I'm thinking maybe this should be the next tattoo I get.
The picture on the sign is a little girl kissing the severed head of a lion. Horrifying, I know.
This is Bandon.
Megan really didn't want me to post this picture. This is the problem with the actualcam; previously, nobody would know if they disliked the picture until it was already on the internet.
Emily made no qualms about this picture.
Emily and Megan ran to the sea. I already knew that the water was frezzing, so I stayed back. I think Emily was actually just trying to wash some poo off her feet.
This is a spooky cave.
We found a dead body
I have no idea what they were pointing at.
It's Spring in Bandon.
It's just NOT Spring in Roseburg.
This, my friend, is the house that Jesus built.
Ok, I should have taken more pictures for this story, but, whatever. We went to historic downtown Bandon in search of a coastal eatery, we found a restaurant, we sat down, we took a look at the menu and quickly realized that we could not afford to eat at said restaurant. We tried and get up and leave as covertly as possible and on our way out; the hostess says "are you looking for something less expensive...oh, I mean...more casual?" She then walks us outside and gives us directions to another restaurant a few blocks away. Pictured above is the "more casual" dinning establishment.
I ordered the "Captains Plate". It came with soup, salad bar, pumpkin bread, rice and all the deep fried sea creatures you could imagine.
I was pretty proud of the dent that I put in it, especially since; two hours prior I had eaten a giant crepe and two hours prior to that I had eaten a giant turkey sandwich and french fries.
And then they gave me ice cream, because, as we all know, nothing goes better with deep fried sea world than ice cream.
The thing is; for the price of the Captains Plate; I could have had a nice meal at the other place.
We thought about stealing this plastic cat from one of Emily's neighbors. We ultimately decided against it because...stealing is wrong.
These are various vehicles that are strewn about Emily's yard.
I suppose the need to build a kids parking lot.
So maybe they already have a parking lot, but they should still build another one, this one appears to be full.
As an un-fitting ending to a pleasant day; I was pulled over and given a speeding ticket. Sucks to be me.

Oh, I had qualms with the picture. Expressing them just seemed like something of a waste, though, since it'd wind up on here anyways, unless I deleted it and then you'd get all uppity...
All good points.
Yes, so I'm just complaining here instead of there I guess.
Sorry I didn't manage to save you a cupcake.
I guess we can call it even then.
