I worked at the Home and Garden show this weekend.

Unlike the Sportsman show last weekend, this one we actually had to sit at our booth and talk to people.

This is my new key chain tape measure.

The free key chain/tape measure; really made it all worthwhile. (*editors note: I haven't seen the tape measure key chain since that day, I think someone must have stolen it.)

I heart pilgrims and hate the enviornment

I believe the car in front of me had some amusing bumper sticker.

Maybe something about JC or guns or the Republican Party.

The future is now.

I mean now.

My new eco-friendly system of rechargeable batteries has resulted in an excessive loss of pictures.

This weekend for example; I had to change the batteries three times to preserve the thanksgiving pictures I took.

And I still lost all of my pictures.

I will let you imagine Thanksgiving based on these blurry yet unrelated pictures.

This is the 40 pound, organic, free range, vegetarian, albino turkey from the fancy supermarket in Eugene.

These are delicious pies, cranberries, stuffings, dressings and deviled eggs. some of which were free of gluten.

And what would Thanksgiving be without champagne styled beverages?

And Wild Turkey.

Lee Ann's brother and his man friend came all the way from Vermont to celebrate. And her friend Eric came all the way from Arkansas, by way of northern California.

All this to commemorate Jesus discovering America.

Or was it when he turned yams into champagne

Regardless of what miracle we were celebrating...

A good time was had by all.

On an unrelated note; this is a Dremel scroll saw attachment. I was pretty sure I needed it. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit my Dremel. Oh well, I probably would have cut off a finger anyway.

Here is the Shabby Shic section at the salvation Army. The "section" consisted of a few pairs of acid washed jeans with holes in them. I do like the spelling though.

This was a (little too) covert photo of the guy who plays songs at the Salvation Army.

I was sad to have missed him.

I hope that all of you had a swell Thanksgiving. Unless, of course, you are from Canada or Europe or pretty much anywhere else, in which case you can just think about the day that Jesus discovered your country.

A list of things

These are some pedometers I got at the business fair. I wore both of them and one pedometer said that I had walked 500 more steps than the other.

This is a socket set I got for $7.00. I think it's probably worth about $3.50. In order to use some of the attachments, you have to hit them with a hammer. And when you need to separate them; you need to use a screwdriver.

This is a temporary tattoo Ben got me. I am looking for the right opportunity to wear it. When I do; I hope I can "punch someones lights out".

This is a cowboy shirt with sequins.

I really thought it was different color when I bought it.

This is a rain coat I got at the Salvation Army.

It's pretty nice and I did NOT steal it.

Honest.

These are some plaid Converse I got to replace the plaid Payless shoes I had that fell apart one month after I got them.

Arr. This be my new pirate belt buckle. ...If you carjack someone, does that make you a pirate?

Driving music

I am currently cat sitting at Alison's parents house. They have less power tools here, but I'll manage.

While looking in the garage for power tools and spare parts, I found a Melodica.

So now I can be a Synthesizer/Melodica/Electroencephalogram one-man-band. Sorry Stefan & Cesar.

Building with great fury.

This used to be the place where the kids from my Jr high school would go to get french fries after school. They would always dump a bunch of ketchup into the bag so if you hand any your hands would totally end up covered in ketchup.

Although not shown in this picture, a giant mall housing Target/BestBuy etc has been erected on the corner of Santa Monica & La Brea...WTF.

I went to Pinks for a hot dog. This was probably supposed to be a picture of someone doing something gross.

The cashier and the guy making my lunch asked about my camera so I took their picture.

I was going to get a hot dog that came with sour cream on top.

At the last minute I chickened out and got the chicago style hot dog, fries & a Bubble Up.

It was a giant sausage with everything on it, I'm usually a pretty good eater and will clean my plate, I was a little embarrassed when I left and hung my head in shame. A couple a the next table asked what I was having, they told me what they were having, and how she had gone to a baseball game and she got a Doger Dog and was very disappointed.

Anyway.

This used car lot has paintings of Arnold Schwartzenegger as the Terminator and Clint Eastwood from maybe The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, with talk bubbles threatening one to buy a car.

This is probably my Jr high school.

This is the interior of the car I am driving, a Toyota Prius, I think maybe this car is not appropriate to my style of driving or something. People keep cutting me off, turning and swerving in front of me, I honk but nobody seems to notice. Maybe I should paint flames or teeth or something on it.

Who knows, something awesome...obviously.
