This is the new KFC/Long John Silver restaurant complex. A few months back they tore down the old KFC. I assume they tore it down so they could install these classy new lights (the blue thing in the lower-left of the photo). Now it looks more like a Starbucks where you can get fried chicken and fish.
We had been talking about coming to LJS for weeks now. I was told that they had a product called the White Whale; a delicacy containing Pollock and Whale meat. Also supposedly on the menu was a crab cake that contained lobster instead of crab, we assumed this would also be made out of Pollock. Neither product was to be found.
We were all slightly disappointed and felt a little ill after our adventures in the world of fried fish and shrimp. Ben and Lee Ann's meals both came with hush puppies, I was pretty disappointed that my meal had not..until I tasted one.
The Fall leaves have been changing colors. This is a picture of some autumn foliage.
Who knew we even got seasons in Oregon?
