Thank god I'm a country boy
Every Tuesday during the summer, Stewart Park host an outdoor concert called Music on the Half Shell.
Tonights performance was Old Crow Medicine Show.
David had set out a blanket at 6:30 am, about ten feet from the stage.
The rest of our gang had not felt this same impulse and came to the concert at 6:30 in the pm. Majority ruled and we all sat further from the stage.
I don't think my pictures would have been any better if we had been up front.
This is a view from inside the hippie-dance-mosh-pit
I forgot my glasses in the car. Lee Ann tried to lead me to safety, but I was hit by flailing hippies
Megan tried to invite the band over to her house for beer.
Maggie got told that she was NOT a real southerner.
We made our way to Megan's, sans Old Crow Medicine Show.
Gweneth had come down from Astoria (home of the Goonies, and pronounced Ass-storia).
Charlie was supposed to come down but didn't. His switch blade wielding styles were duly missed.
